What am I paying for?

This service involves a comprehensive diagnosis and troubleshooting of your laptop to find the faults in your laptop that are causing the issues you are experiencing. The technician will check the laptop based on your complains. The technician will then contact you with a list of all the issues that have been found and a possible solution.

 

Do I have to pay extra to repair the device?

Depending on the time and effort it takes to repair the issues, the technician will send you a quote and if you accept the quote the initial fee you paid will go towards the final price. Let’s say to repair all the issues it will cost R400 and you paid 350 for the diagnosis, then you only pay R50 for the repair.

What happens if the laptop needs new parts?

The technician will advise you on all the parts that needs to be replaced. The cost of these parts will be separate from the initial diagnostic fee. However, the technician will not charge you anything extra to replace the parts. The technician will simply replace the parts after you pay for them.

Can you collect the broken device from my address?

Yes we can collect the broken device. We will charge a collection fee of R150, this is actually cheaper and preferred to booking a technician to come and repair the broken device at your premises, which could usually result to callout fees ranging between R500 and R900.

Can I drop the device in person for repairs?

Yes you may drop the device at one of our service centers. Please follow the links below to check a service center near you.

How long is the warranty on the repair?

We are very confident in our work and that’s why every job we do is covered by a 12 months warranty period for your peace of mind. This warranty excludes physical damage to the replaced parts or some other issue to the software or hardware resulting from the inappropriate usage of the device. The technician will usually provide advice on the best way to use the device in order to prolong the life of your device and prevent the issue from occurring again in future.
